Numerical Rods with Number Tiles

The Number Rods help a child associate numbers 1-10 with their name and quantity, and introduce numerical order. The Number Rods can also be a tool for addition and subtraction.

• Ten solid wooden rods divided into units by alternating colors of red and blue. The rods are constant in height and width (2.5cm) while graduated in length from 10 cm to 1 meter.
• The rods are presented in a wooden box that includes one set of wooden number tiles 1-10.
• The shortest rod is red. The second is twice the size of the first; one half is painted red and the other half is blue. The third rod is three times the size of the first and is divided into three sections; the first painted red, the second is blue, and the third red. All the other rods are divided in a similar fashion, alternating red and blue, the first section always being red. The number of sections represent the numbers of the rod.
